In the fall of 2007 a Task Force of Rotarians was charged to address concerns centred around our meeting place and the services offered, the steady decrease in weekly attendance and the dramatic fall-off in membership. The Committee comprised:

• Gus De Jardin
• Norma Friedman
• Allan Neale
• Bob Whyte

The Task Force Report was submitted to the board in December 2007 and provided useful input to developing a Strategic Plan for the Club

A committee was set up in early 2008 to generate a strategic plan for theclub which would provide a multi-year framework for club activities. David Stocks from the Sooke club agreed to act as a facilitator for the discussions and generation of the plan. The Committee comprised:

From early February through to March a total of 5 meetings were held to formulate the Strategic Plan. The final two meetings included the Board and related groups within the club.
