Robbie Burns Celebration
–––
We had a superb contingent to celebrate Burns Day at Rotary: our majestic piper Jamie Orr; our fine toaster to the Haggis and tenor of note John Davidson, our incomparable purveyor of Scottish tunes on the piano Susan Smedley and our own eminent and beloved Jim Cutt as Master of Ceremonies, with Scottish Terry Jones toasting the lassies. Sadly the haggis had been horribly mutilated in the kitchen but this did not dampen the John's enthusiasm in his address.
