Trip Down Under - Sept 2010
Day 57 - Sydney Day 1
The drive from Port Macquarie to Sydney took under 5 hours and we only had a short section through traffic in North Sydney. Google street-view helped a lot for recognising the hotel which we found without much trouble. The view from the 15th floor is fantastic and there are flowering Jacaranda trees in sight everywhere.
Took the bus over the Harbour Bridge into Sydney proper (we were 5 km away in North Sydney) and wasted no time getting over to the Sydney Opera House - managed to get the last tour of the day. Had pizza on the quay leading to the Opera House and managed to get back to the hotel just in time to see the end of the sunset.
