Day 45 - Cairns / Kurunda
A very long and interesting day. Traveled from Cairns (Caravacia) via the SkyRail gondola to Kuranda - stops at Red Rock and a Viewpoint to see the Barron River Falls. There we walked in the village, had lunch, and then had a guided tour of the Rainforestation. This included a wildlife park, cultural exhibition with dances, boomerang throwing (Gordie sucked), and spear-throwing (no audience participation). On the way back we took the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
