Day 33 - Rotorua to Mt Ruapehu
A very busy day started with a tour of the thermal park Wai-O-Tapu (Sacred Water). This included the Lady Knox Geyser - unlike Old Faithful, this geyser is triggered at 10:15 by dropping a block of soap into the fumarole. After lunch we progressed to Huka Falls near Taupo. Then we completed a tour around Tongariro National Park - the desert to the West, part Turengi and the south and back up to Mt Ruahepu and the Chateau Tongariro.
