MIDI Manager 2.0.2 Read Me To install the Apple MIDI Manager, move the following files from the "MIDI Management Tools 2.0.2" folder into the following places: 1.) Drag the file "MIDI Manager" onto your system folder. Click "OK" on the dialog box which appears. 2.) If you use an external synthesizer or sound module, which you would like to control using MIDI Manager (but not with QTMP!), drag the file "Apple MIDI Driver" onto your system folder, otherwise don't move it there. This file stays just in the System folder itself, not in the Extensions folder. This file allows you to use the modem/printer port to attach a real MIDI device to your computer. 3.) If in step 2 you installed "Apple MIDI Driver" and you are using a Mac IIfx, drag the "Serial Switch" control panel into the System Folder. Click "OK" on the dialog box which appears. The Apple MIDI Manager is now installed. You will need to reboot for your changes to take effect. To learn more about how the Apple MIDI Manager is configured, read the " !Read Me!" file included with QT Midi Player. It explains everything, plus a lot more... Terry Greeniaus 1 July 1996
