Photo Date 6/6/13 10:58:07 AM Greece Holiday 2013-06-06 Mykonos Day 3 We wandered through the streets of Mykonos looking for the famous pelican. Several inquiries finally led us to a square where we found TWO pelicans - Petros & Nikolas. We talked with a fellow setting up to sell seashells - he had an uncle in Vancouver, went there on his honeymoon and now has twin boys. He complained about how expensive it was to live on Mykoos compared to other Greek Islands. As usual the SuperJet was late and we waited for 1 1/2 hours - luckily in the shade and had a place to sit. Some people stood in the sun (unnecessarily) waiting for the boat to arrive. It was HOT ! |
