Photo Date 21/5/13 10:36:15 AM Greece - Naxos Trip - 2013-05-21 Naxos Bus Tour - our guide spoke 70% German and 30% English, but we got a reasonable taste of the central island highlights. Halki is located in the basin of Tragaia, just 14 km from Naxos Town. It is a very picturesque village with neoclassical houses and lots of plants. Picturesque streets and squares, balconies fully bloom, various shops, orchards and olive groves make the landscape like a beautiful painting. We had our first tasting of Naxos Kitron - a lemon leaf based liqueur which comes in three varieties (yellow - the srongest, white and green).
