Vile Polywogs ...
King Neptune (our Cruise Director Jimmy) appears when a ship crosses the equator to demonstrate his dominance of the seas. All the crew members who are first-time traversers of the equator get a hazing. The passengers and crew massed on the back Lido deck for the celebration.
